Frequently asked questions
Does WinPicks pick winners for me?
It predicts every game on the card, and you can bet those. But the bigger half of what you are buying is the workbench: it takes your angles, runs them against forty seasons, and shows you which ones still hold up on games they have never seen. That is the part that changes a season.
Which sports does it cover?
Pro football, college football, pro basketball and college basketball.
What does it cost?
Season passes start at $99 for a single sport and run to $250 for all four. See pricing.
How long does a season pass last?
To the first of July. July is the only month with no season running in any of the four sports, so a pass always covers the whole season it was bought for. Nothing renews automatically — we do not hold your card and there is no subscription to cancel.
Do I need to install anything?
No. WinPicks 2.0 runs in a browser. Version 1 was a Windows application and many customers still have it; the hosted version is the same engine with the download step removed.
Can I use my own formulas?
That is what it is for. Build them, weight them, tune them against eight objectives, and grade them out of sample.
Why do you show how many combinations a scan tried?
Because it tells you where the bar is. Sweeping nine thousand combinations will throw up a few hundred good-looking results by chance, so knowing the count is exactly what lets a genuine find stand out. It is the difference between a list and an answer.
Is there a manual?
Yes, and it is free without an email address. Read it here or download the PDF.
Is there a free trial?
Not yet. Ordering opens shortly and we will say more then.
